Our creation process

Step 1: Project study

Before brainstorming and crafting names, the creative team learns about your business to understand your vision. It is critical, at this step, for us to understand your business, branding and the cultural aspects of your company.

Step 2: Name creation

Your business might not be able to afford the long time that creating an ideal name can take.  That’s why we offer two possibilities.  One, if it is urgent, we choose an adequate name from our portfolio of ready-to-use company and product names.  If our client has the right time to go through the complete process, we create on-demand tailor-made names.

Our multi-cultural creative team uses Namestock’s proprietary computer software to help generate names.  Concurrently, the availability of names are thoroughly checked, from a legal and online perspective. As a precautionary measure, .com domain names for newly created names are registered.  Then the names are sent to our name testers.

Step 3: Name testing

We have set up an international consumer panel in 25 countries. This panel reviews your possible new company identity and verifies that the name(s) fulfill the following conditions:
a. International acceptance
b. Sound of the brand
c. Pronunciation and meaning, avoiding similarities to existing brands
d. Brand memorization.

Step 4: Client’s choice

To simplify your final choice, we provide a short list of 2 to 4 names, selected as offering the best potential.
If you require, we can translate the selected name into Asian writings (Chinese 中文, Japanese日本語, and Korean한글) for the fast growing Asian market.

Step 5: Registration of domain names and trademarks

After the final choice of name is agreed, we register local domain names and trademarks to protect your new asset.  Our team located in Luxembourg manages all configurations of the domain names.
Additionally, for each domain, we create and manage a personalized local page to positively point out your new brand. All your targeted countries will be covered.
